Osprey Architects was founded by Garda Massey, an Architect with over ten years diverse experience in architecture and interior design.

Garda holds a degree in Anatomy from Bristol University. She went on to graduate from the University of Westminster with a first-class degree in Architecture. In her Master of Architecture, she was awarded a distinction in which her portfolio was awarded top in her year.

Garda specialises in residential architecture and design and has worked on an array of projects throughout the UK, across all budgets and RIBA stages. Her goal is to deliver exceptional spaces both inside and out by sympathetically incorporating the interior design process from the outset so that it becomes integral to the architecture of a project. Garda enjoys the challenge of marrying up contemporary living with beautiful design without compromising on practicality. Her strong belief is that having an empathetic understanding of the needs of each individual client and their sight is her path to excellent design. She understands the importance of making every space within the whole count.

In her previous role with London based architects Smith and Brooke, Garda gained extensive experience designing and remodelling listed and heritage residential buildings as well as navigating the planning process in protected areas, across London and throughout the UK.  Before that, Garda worked for Interior Design Studio, Carter Shott whose founder, Caroline Shott nurtured her enthusiasm and sparked the certainty that interior design formed the bedrock to good architecture. Caroline impressed upon Garda the importance of scrupulous attention to detail, which is the hallmark of her practice today.
